About the Last Round of the Resiliency Fund

Deadline to apply to the Final Round of the Resiliency Fund: May 8, 2026 (5:00 PM EST)

This final round of the Resiliency Fund is an opportunity for businesses to receive the support needed for business taxes and marketing.

Companies or entrepreneurs who meet the eligibility requirements may submit proposals for tax or marketing services for businesses located in the City of Dayton, as outlined in the RFP.

The fund is structured around two opportunities, each designed to provide support for minority-owned businesses in the City of Dayton. These opportunities aim to bridge the financial gaps exacerbated by the pandemic, ensuring these vital enterprises can continue operating and thriving in the coming year.

CITY OF DAYTON SMALL BUSINESS RFP OPPORTUNITIES

Get Paid to Strengthen Dayton's Small Business Community

The Miami Valley Urban League and the City of Dayton are contracting local businesses to deliver professional services to Dayton entrepreneurs — funded by American Rescue Plan Act dollars.

Through the City of Dayton's ARPA Small Business Recovery Program, the Miami Valley Urban League is investing federal recovery funds directly into the local economy — by hiring Dayton-based businesses as paid service providers.

Contracted vendors will deliver critical business support services to local entrepreneurs who were impacted by the pandemic. Two contracts are currently open for competitive bid.

Tax Preparation & Compliance

Help small businesses get financially fit and get paid to do it.

Purpose: Provide Dayton small businesses with the tax compliance support, financial guidance, and recordkeeping skills they need to grow and sustain.

Who Should Apply: CPAs, tax preparation firms, bookkeepers, and financial professionals with small business experience.

Eligible Services Include:

  • Business tax preparation (federal, state, and local)
  • Tax compliance guidance and readiness consultations
  • Recordkeeping support and best practices
  • Group workshops for small business owners

Note: Personal tax services are not eligible under this contract.

Funding Available: Up to $75,000 total | Maximum $40,000 per vendor

Website Design & Digital Services

Help Dayton businesses show up online and build a stronger digital future.

Purpose: Improve the digital presence and online readiness of Dayton small businesses through hands-on website and digital marketing services.

Who Should Apply: Website designers and developers, digital marketing firms, SEO consultants, and technology trainers.

Eligible Services Include:

  • Website creation or redesign
  • Website audits and performance reviews
  • SEO support and optimization
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimization
  • Training business owners to independently manage their websites

Funding Available: Up to $70,000 total | Maximum $40,000 per vendor
